The Week I Discovered Chai, in collaboration with Joe Lawn,2019

In August 2019, I spent a week working intensively with my collaborator, Joe Lawn, in their family home. At the time we thought my top surgery was a matter of months away, so were focussed on documenting my body before it changed forever. Alongside casting, we also spent a lot of time writing and talking and drawing and processing, as well as drinking a lot of chai tea. The following is some of the photos I took on a disposable camera during that week.
